This November it is my honor to be part of a Prisoner’s for Christ missionary team going to India.

I have been involved in prison ministry for a number of years and as the ministry has expanded through the will of God, there have been requests from pastors in other countries asking PFC to come help with prison ministry. I was blessed to be a part of such a team that went to Africa in December of 2006 and again in October 2008, specifically Rwanda, Burundi and the Congo DRC. These are very poor countries and prisoners are typically the forgotten, the least of the least. The Lord has carved out a place in my heart for people in prisons throughout the world and has presented another opportunity to be on this Prisoner’s for Christ team going to the prisons in India this November for 2 weeks.

Conditions are typically very poor in the prisons we go to so we bring humanitarian aid with us whenever possible. Even more important we bring a message of hope, forgiveness and salvation. Sharing the Word of God in prison services and offering prisoners a hope that they have never had before is just one of the many facets of the trip. We will also be planting prison ministries and conducting leadership conferences in the local churches, and anything else the Lord has planned. On our last African prison trip over 1900 prisoners accepted the Lord as Savior and I can’t wait to see what the Lord has planned for this trip to India!!

We will be going to Hyderabad, India a city of 4 million where PFC has an established ministry and will be ministering in the jails and prisons in this city. We will also be encouraging and equipping our local missionaries. Then we will head north to New Delhi where we will be breaking new ground with the ministry. I can say that although this will be my third foreign mission trip I am just as excited about it as the other two. Most of all I am looking forward to sharing the Word of God with prisoners who have lost all hope.  Seeing the transformation in them when they have accepted the Lord as their personal savior is just one of the rewards we experience on an otherwise hard journey.

Going on this mission trip to the prisons of India is not something that I can do on my own. I need your help!! I need your prayers and I need to raise $3,500 to fund this trip. Will you help me? Will you pray for our team and also consider financially supporting me on this trip? I realize with the condition of the economy it may be difficult but the time is short and the need is big, but so is our God!

I am asking you to please pray about it and if the Lord puts it on your heart to financially support me on this mission trip you can use the enclosed donation slip and envelope or donate online by following the direction on the back of the donation slip.

I am grateful and humbled by your prayer support and your financial generosity! I sincerely hope that you will come along side me as I journey to the prisons of India. I can’t go without you!
